Künstlerinnen
"Künstlerinnen" was an interdisciplinary series of workshops initiated by the Equal Opportunities Office in cooperation with the individual departments at Folkwang. As part of lectures, talks or workshops, the speakers reported on their careers and everyday working lives or opened up a career-related topic to the students. In this way, the students were given the opportunity to directly view supposedly gender-atypical career paths. The aim of the workshop series was to promote the visibility of women who are underrepresented in artistic or artistic-scientific fields. The series was funded by the state program for gender-equitable universities between 2013 and 2019.
