Communication Design at the Folkwang University of the Arts: This is contemporary, interdisciplinary design with image, text and code. The Master's program is open in both form and content. You have a great deal of freedom to pursue your aesthetic, artistic and scientific questions. You can devote yourself to the three areas of image/text/code across the board, you can concentrate entirely on one area or combine the areas. Interdisciplinary research clusters on fields such as "Digital Narration", "Forms of Knowledge" or "Generative Writing" offer the opportunity to engage intensively with central current design topics and bring together different perspectives in joint projects. The interdisciplinary cooperation projects are based on the creative interests and special issues of the students and teaching staff. Those who wish can also take courses in photography and industrial design.
